Positive Thinking
If you can utilize the power of positive thinking in your life, then you will give yourself the ability to maintain a positive approach toward every challenge you face. You will be able to overcome challenges without losing your focus or your goal. Most of us have goals, and we are seeking ways to reach them. As we journey, we are going to come across failure, obstacles, challenges as well as other unexpected things that will give us a feeling of hopelessness and a big reason to just give up.
Positive thinking helps us to look back on the road traveled and learn from the hard times and turn it into a positive lesson to help move you forward to a life of happiness and minimizing stress. I believe that if someone uses the power of positive thinking, they are able to achieve anything he sets his mind to do. History provides us lessons in this theory over and over again. It is never, to late to change your thinking into positive thinking, and the best time to start is now.
There are some fascinating speakers and authors on the subject of positive thinking, one of my favorites being Napoleon Hill who wrote “Think And Grow Rich”. Another great speaker on this topic is Anthony Robbins, who wrote “The Power to Shape Your Destiny”. This book offers ideas on how you can choose your own destiny. We all have the power to shape our future by our thoughts that lead to our actions. If we are more focused on our future, versus our past, looking at the goal and moving steadily toward it. We have the power to determine what comes our way…if you smile, you will get a smile in return. If you say hello, you will get a hello, if you are rude, you get rudeness in return. Anthony Robbins explains in his book his philosophy of Transformational Vocabulary. He teaches how to use your words, and with a larger vocabulary, to increase your skills in positive thinking as well as positive communication and attitude.
Earl Nightingale teaches us that our mind is one of the most powerful computers in the world. He teaches the importance of having a destination and goal that is worth striving for on a daily basis. By having something to look forward and work towards, is a powerful motivator and confidence tool. Positive thinking feeds a positive attitude, which can make or break anyone. We have greater control over our attitudes that we give ourselves credit for. He also shows that when a person puts out negative, he will get back negative in return.
