Health Positive Thinking

Our minds are a very powerful tool, matter of fact, we use such a minute part of our minds, the capabilities are so much greater than we ever use.  There is a link to health – positive thinking, and the anatomy of illness.  Some of the things that have you should know is your health can be determined by your thoughts.  Some of the ways that we can affect our life is to mix health, positive thinking and positive mental attitude.

The things you need to do are:

1. Make a decision to be healthy – your mindset will become a part of your life.  If you are someone who is expecting to become sick, then what do you think will happen?  You will become sick.  If you expect to be healthy, you will be healthy.  Your mind determines your health.  A great source to read will be “The Power of Positive Thinking” by Norman Vincent Peale.  He states that a man becomes what he expects to become.

2. Be responsible for your health – deal with your health as you would anything of great importance.

3. Be charitable, but not in a co-dependent way – everyone feels the need to give of themselves, but some try to give too much.  Be careful, give what you can, but give to yourself as well.  If you don’t take care of yourself, you are of no use to anyone else.  To help the healing of others, you have to be healing yourself.

4. Health, positive thinking and victories – with every new experience or pursuit we take, we learn and grow.  On this journey, you will find new way to improve your life, something that brings you joy, makes your smile, or maybe just brings a sense of peace in your mind. It may be something like a craft you have just learned, or an art project you have begun, bringing you a sense of self worth and confidence.  Think about when you have finished a project, how you felt about your accomplishment.  This affects your health, positive thinking will literally change the way your body copes with life.

5. Spread Love – smile, hug, thank someone, tell someone how much you appreciate them, recognize who they are, give them your shoulder to lean on for a while.  All of these things will greatly benefit your health, positive thinking the key.
