Essay Brainstorming
Writing an essay is no easy feat! Many people do not enjoy the process of writing and find it difficult to get their ideas down on paper. Chances are very good that you’re one of those people. Thankfully, doing some essay brainstorming could be the answer that you are looking for.
Many different companies use brainstorming in order to come up with ways for better business innovation and lateral thinking. This helps to get the corporate juices flowing and offers a way to organize the thoughts of different company members. Even if you’re an individual, you can use the same ideas to lead to better essay innovation.
There are many different ways that you can do essay brainstorming, but the easiest might be to do some mind mapping. This mind map will give you a clear blueprint about the things you should include in your essay.
One of the best ways to do a mind map is to use a web. A web will organize your ideas in an easy and fun fashion and lead to the facilitation of your essay. Here are the steps you need to follow in order to list your creative ideas and other things you’re thinking of including.
1. Draw your essay topic in the center of your paper. Draw a circle around it.
2. Then, draw five spokes coming off of that. At the end of each spoke in turn write, “introduction, point 1, point 2, point 3, and conclusion.” (If your essay is longer you can include more points.)
3. Draw a circle around each of those words because it helps to separate your thoughts.
4. Then, draw a spoke coming off of “introduction.” Write down details that you would like included, each with their own spoke. These should be general and include an idea of what will be covered in your essay.
5. Next, draw a spoke coming off of “point 1.” Include something you’ll want to add to prove your point. You can have as many ideas as you like here.
6. Do the same for points 2 and 3.
7. Finally, draw a spoke coming off of “conclusion.” This should not include any new information but rather be a wrap up of your previous thoughts.
There! You now have your essay brainstorming completed. This mind map is perhaps the answer you’ve been looking for. Mind maps help for all kinds of problem solving, so you might want to try one for all of the different projects you do.
