Creative Thinking
We are living in a very competitive world and to survive we need innovative and creative thinking. We have depended creative thinkers for inventions, technology, advertising, and just surviving. As we have evolved, so has the ability to think creatively, and this is evident in the way we live. Where did the ideas, the inventions, the incredible discoveries stem from? They are all products of lateral thinking. They are the process of pushing away the logic and bringing out the illogical, training our mind to create ideas that we normally would think absurd.
Business innovations have been promoted by brainstorming or mind mapping processes which stimulate the mind to create ideas. This is an activity that is purposeful and extremely essential in the facilitation of success whether it be career, personal, finances, or anything else that affects our daily life. This has a huge impact on all aspects of life, not just for ourselves, but everyone.
What exactly does creative thinking require? This is letting go of your mind, enabling it to reach out beyond the limits we have placed on it for so many years. This is giving the mind a chance for coming up with revolutionary ideas. Any invention from the past is a direct result of a breakthrough idea, one that is so revolutionary that is has changed existence as we knew it. Our mind is a “mine” that needs to be mined, as crazy and ridiculous as that sounds, it really is true. There are treasures buried so deep that it takes training the mind to rethink in a new way.
Can you imagine what our world would be like today without the innovation and problem solving that has been discovered through creative thinking? It is truly revolutionary and boggling to our minds in it present state. Therefore, we need to become creative thinkers, releasing any limits on how we think. We need to knock down the barriers and boundaries that we have thought previously needed to be there. We need to rid our minds of logic, black and white, and just let our thoughts flow freely and easily. Creative thinking is the way of the past and needs to be the way of the future.
