Brainstorming Examples

What is brainstorming exactly?  Is it a time when people get together and start yelling out ideas, is there order to a brainstorming session?  What are some brainstorming examples?  Well, lets find out…and see what exactly goes on in a brainstorming session.

Different Kind of Meeting
This is a meeting that is unlike any other that fit into the “meeting” category.  This is one that has its own ground rules, its own ethics and everyone are equal.  This is an innovative tool for problem-solving and creative ideas put out on the table, teambuilding, and a chance for everyone to be heard. It doesn’t matter what the meeting is for, it may be as big as merging with another company or as simple as the changes to made in the break room.  This seems to bring life to the employees, helping them wake up, feel a bit of life in the daily doldrums of everyday routines, this helps them to think differently, not only in the meeting, but in their job, their life.

Rockin Rules!
Great brainstorming examples are meetings that are not bound by tradition.  They don’t have a speaker to start the meeting, or someone to read the minutes, or another person in charge of taking notes, oh, and that person with the flip-chart, not happening!  This is more like a music jam session.  You just start recording and the music begins to play.  And the key of this jam session, is to record all of the music that is played.  Then when you are ready to edit, you can take out the “not so beautiful” music and let the rest of the music play on.

There are no higher or lower levels in brainstorming.  Everyone is equals, no supervisors, and no newbie’s, just a team working together bringing new creativity to the floor, for all to participate.  The purpose is to get away from the conventional way of thinking, allow new and innovative strategies, inspirations, ideas, epiphanies, each to connect to each other, making a huge web of thoughts and ideas.  This is a chance for a results, change and concepts, for all to be in an optimal state of mind.  This is  place where those involved in brainstorming creativity are at……are you?
