Art of Positive Thinking

The art of positive thinking is an art that we all possess but don’t always use.  This is something that can actually cure anxiety attacks, depression and deal with stress.  This is a power that is supposed to be strong enough to cure anything that affects you whether it be physically or mentally.  This is something that takes a bit of practice, but something that everyone has the capability of achieving.

Lets take a look at an example of how to use the art of positive thinking:

You are working at a job that has terrible pay, tedious working conditions and unconventional hours.  First, let’s look at some of the positive aspects, first, there is a job to go to, and there are other people there to share your woes as they are going to the very same job, probably getting the same pay and working the same hours.

Another situation may be an illness or terrible an affliction of any kind.  Our typical responsive thought is to think the worse when you hear either one mentioned.  How can anyone use the art of positive thinking when it comes to cancer, or another terminal illness?  I am here to tell you that it can work, and it does work, maybe not in healing the disease, but to make the last days one that is always treasured and looked upon with fond remembrance.

I recall a moment that I will always cherish, when my mother was dying of cancer.  We were pushing her across the yard in her wheelchair, and we came upon a bucket, she and I joked about avoiding it so she wouldn’t be able to “kick the bucket” just yet.  That memory is healing, then and now.

The art of positive thinking can heal us as well as those around us.  It truly is an art, as well as an attitude, that changes the physiology in our bodies.  It is proven that patients in hospitals have faster recoveries using the art of positive thinking over those who have the continual gloom and doom philosophy, feeling sorry for themselves.  By using the art of positive thinking, you will bring yourself greater happiness, and this will spread to all those around you.
